My Day Begins and Ends with Gratitude

My Day Begins and Ends With Gratitude

From the time I open my eyes in the morning until they close at night, I feel gratitude. Starting and ending my day with gratitude puts the perfect bookends on my day.

I list the things that make me feel the most grateful before I get out of bed. Starting my day with gratitude begins my day on a positive note.

When I feel grateful first thing in the morning, I establish an attitude that supports having a wonderful day.

There are always things in my life to be grateful for. I remind myself how amazing it is to have my health, a warm bed, clothes, friends, and family. Having the basics covered is the most important thing.

I am fortunate, and I remind myself of my good fortune throughout the day.

In the evening, I take a moment to think over my day and list the good things that happened. Many little things happen throughout the day that I can smile about. It might be petting a dog in the street or having a great cup of coffee. These are the types of things that I can appreciate.

When I have appreciation for something, I receive more of it the future.

Today, I begin and end my day with gratitude. I feel grateful during my day, too. I have much to be grateful for and I appreciate all of my blessings.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. What blessings in my life am I grateful for?

2. How would my life change if I felt grateful throughout my day?

3. What can I do to increase my feelings of gratitude?

Keep it simple. The idea is to build a positive mindset each day, and build positive affirmations that allow the universe to bring more goodness into our lives.

One way I love to do this, is to write down a list of things I'm grateful for. The best way to do this is with a journal. I like to write out affirmations, goals, things I want to work on, and things I'm grateful for.
